The dream is for the Sundog crew to take this boat (Sundog Valiant) from Ketchikan to Skagway in June 2008 with a possible side trip to Sitka. We plan to travel by oar & wind and maybe a little 2 hp kicker. Trip should be 400-500 miles depending on the final route we choose. We anticipate it will take 4-5 weeks.

Right now we are in the dreaming and planning stages. The boat, a 17 foot Jersey Skiff from Gig Harbor Boat Works, is ordered & under production, scheduled to be part of the 2008 Seattle Boat Show. Now it is a matter of working out the logistics and working hard so we can afford the trip.

More to come!
